GM has its dedicated mobile shut down team that masters the unique and specific nature of shutdowns and turnarounds activities, this leads to reducing the preparation time, collating historical information, retaining this information for future reference and optimizing the resources utilization. Team members are multi-disciplined engineers and technicians with hands-on experience in the oil and gas field, they are well familiar with all safety procedures and can easily adopt to different customers HSE regulations. The team is well equipped with all necessary tools, uniform, transportation means and required safety gears; it is also highly mobile and could be mobilized on a short notice to any location within Egypt. |

| Certified Scaffolding |
GM experience in scaffolding services is diverse and has emerged as a result of the many scaffolds erected while performing our global maintenance contracts with our clients over a long period of time.
The Department scaffolding staff is well trained, highly experienced and (OSHA, CITB UK) certified to perform their duties according to the highest standards, industry norms and codes of practice.
All scaffolding material is certified according to British Standards.
Scaffolding comes as one of the high priority services that GM pay attention to, the following points represent the top management commitment, and prove their full & continuous support pertaining g to this issue:
- GM has more than 80 Scafolders & Foremen Certified by OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Association) and are working on a full time bases.
- Our Scaffolding engineers are the only engineers in the Middle East certified from the CITB-UK & Carrying CISRS CARD as a scaffolding supervisor and inspector.

GM has acquired one of the most advanced test bench unit for Pressure Safety Valves. The unit is versatile and self contained with its compressor for the required pressure inside a small container to ease mobilization on a short notice to any plant facility within Egypt.

| Tube Bundle Puller |
New sophisticated equipment specialized in handling the tube bundles of heat exchangers. The machine is 3rd unit in Egypt and 1st among specialized maintenance companies.
The puller is pioneer in its capacity as it is designed to handle heat exchangers Bundles up to 12 meter long, 2 meter diameter and weight up to 35 ton.

A main part of Global Maintenance activities is undertaking turnkey pre-commissioning and commissioning projects, or partial contribution with other contractors as per the Client requirements. Whatever the case, we have the technology, our own quality software CTS (Commissioning Tracking System) and the experience to complete our assignments beyond the expectation of our Clients.

| Advanced Chemical Cleaning |
Appropriate safe choice to protect the integrity and safety of the assets is to carry out chemical cleaning with benign and friendly special chemicals that dissolves and removes the deposits only, and have No Effect whatsoever on the substrate of the equipment.
GM advanced chemical cleaning team are highly qualified and experienced personnel, equipped with modern equipments to carry out the recommended advanced industrial chemical cleaning process successfully. A witness on our success, our team has accomplished several successful jobs at various locations for different applications ranging from Fin Fan Coolers, Heat Exchangers, Process skids,…etc. for many clients such as: ELNG, Petrobel, Khalda, Mansoura Petroleum Co., Rashpetco and Others. |

| On Condition Monitoring (OCM) |
GM Dept. had acquired the On-Condition Monitoring technologies and services that are widely available to assist in proactively identifying minute changes in machine condition, sometimes weeks or months before any problems become visibly apparent. Predictive and proactive maintenance methods such as using information gathered from vibration, temperature (thermo-graphy) and oil analysis can help identifying potential machinery problems that ultimately could result in unwanted downtime if not corrected.
Condition Monitoring Targets are:
- Increasing machine life and availability.
- Increasing production and improving product quality.
- Reducing environmental hazards, injuries, and penalties.
- Reducing the risk of catastrophic failures and minimizing unscheduled downtime.
- Reducing power consumption.
- Reducing the number of maintenance activities, Manpower, spare parts and eliminating component waste (non- replacement of serviceable component).
- Reducing frequency of overhauls, and thus, reducing insurance costs.

| Painting & Insulation Activities |

For Painting Works:
GM covers all the requirements for surface preparation and the application of protective coating according to the international painting standards for petrochemical and corrosive atmosphere.
GM provides all necessary equipments for surface preparation and application of coatings including abrasive blasting and other equipment required for surface preparation.
GM supply and provides all required manpower and scaffolding materials to carry out all painting activities including planned and unplanned works both in parallel.

EMC maintains, supply and provides all the insulation tools and manpower required for the maintenance activities that include the repair works or replacement of LNG plant insulation, Also EMC advise SEGAS the stock of consumable and other material required for the plant insulation.

Inspection is an important function of any predictive maintenance program. Most of these inspections utilize non destructive tests (NDT) which are group of very specialized technical procedures to provide information about the condition of materials or components without destroying them.
